Privacy policy

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Cllr Fiona Gourley is the Data Controller of all personal data collected by this petition.

Your name, email address, postcode, and any comments you record will be stored securely for the duration of our campaign to restore bus services in North East Somerset.

Your name, postcode and comments (but not your email address) may be shared with the West of England Combined Authority to demonstrate your support for our campaign. We will not share your information with any other organisation without your explicit consent.

With your agreement, we may email you from time to time to keep you informed on progress of this campaign. You may unsubscribe from these emails at any time.

​You have rights in relation to your data and can choose how it is used. You can:

• Obtain copies of the data we hold about you (a “subject access request”).
• ​Request that we correct or update any data held about you.
• Withdraw your consent and ask that we delete your data or restrict the ways in which we use your data.
• You may opt-out of receiving further communications from us at any time.

You also have the right to make a complaint directly to the Information Commissioner's Office. Concerns can be also logged via the ICO website.
